Velvet Ghost Pipefish (Solenostomus sp), Puerto Galera, Philippines. I found this beautiful purple Ghost Pipefish on a night dive in Sabang Bay hiding in amongst some wire corals of the same colour. She was carrying a brood of eggs in her pouch when I found her and on a subsequent dive I also found the smaller male in the same area. As she was perfectly camouflaged I dont think many other divers knew about them, so she stayed in the same area for about 2 months!
