The conditions at The Drop Off, Verde Island, Philippines were
great with over 30m visibility and calm seas; perfect for attempting
some split shots. This one was taken at the end of our second dive when I
found a rock near the surface with no coral growth, which let me
stabilize myself by standing on it. I positioned myself with some nice
hard coral formations in the underwater foreground, waited until our
dive boat came close and the diver swam into frame and managed to get a
few shots off, with this one being my favourite. Nikon
